Wirewin® Category 6A patch cables meet the specifications of ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2. This enables data transmission at 10GBit/s. Category 6A is specified for 500MHz. These patch cables use double-shielded cable. Each pair has its own foil shield, with an additional braided shield around all pairs. This construction is commonly referred to as PIMF (Pairs in Metalfoil) or S/FTP. The cable sheath is made from halogen-free material and is therefore flame-retardant. Yellow Category 6A RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts are enclosed in a special Wirewin® strain relief boot that protects the latch while allowing it to be pressed easily. A length marking is printed on the underside of the boot. All Wirewin® CAT6A patch cables come with a lifetime warranty!
